Rebel Duo Keeps Rolling In Regional

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – Both UNLV players won their singles matches on Saturday during the fourth day of the 2025 ITA Mountain Region Men's Tennis Championships on campus at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
Representatives from 16 schools are on hand for the event, which runs through Monday.
 
UNLV's top-seeded and 83rd-rated Ilia Snitari continued to roll through the field, downing 12th-seeded Valentino De Pellegrin of Idaho State, 6-1, 6-0. Joining him in the final eight was Illia Maksymchuk, who downed 15th-seeded Tygen Goldammer of BYU, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.
 
As the second qualifying tournament for the 2025 NCAA Individual Championships, the ITA Division I Regional Championships will continue over the next two weeks on college campuses across the country. With 13 regional tournaments being hosted on the men's and women's sides of play, the two singles finalists from each region (26 total) as well as the doubles champion from each region (13 total) will qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships through these Regional Championships.
