LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV cross country team returns to the Golden State for its second meet of the season with a trip to Riverside, California, for the UC Riverside Invitational. The four-race meet at UCR's Ag Ops Course commences with the women's 5K at 8:25 am followed by a men's 8K.
​​UNLV will send 10 student-athletes to the Inland Empire, including seven returners from the 2024 season. The Scarlet & Gray will be represented Saturday by seniors Nicole Boskovich, Taylor Gauthier and Aine McDade, juniors Alana Sangprasit, Autumn Viscardo and transfer Angelina Vasquez, sophomores Claire Rands and Eva Walker and freshmen Kimberly Ovadia and Reagan Reed.
In the season-opening 6K race three weeks ago, Boskovich finished 25th overall in a personal best time of 22:35.8. Reed made her Rebel debut by running a 22:44.8 to finish 29th overall. Sangprasit (22:49.1, personal best), Ovadia (23:44.3), McDade (23:50.5, personal best), Rands (23.59.4), Vasquez (24:00.1), Viscardo (24:10.8), Walker (26:31.7) and Gauthier (26:47.3) also represented the Scarlet & Gray.
2025 SCHEDULE: UNLV will compete in three regular-season meets this season. The squad will return to Riverside, California for the Highlander Invitational (Oct. 18). The MW Championships are slated for Oct. 31, while the NCAA Regionals are two weeks later in Sacramento on Nov. 14.
