LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) — UNLV men's soccer will open a stretch of three straight matches in the Golden State against CSU Bakersfield with a 7 p.m. match Saturday at CSUB Main Soccer Field.
Currently on a tough non-conference road swing, the Rebels (1-1-0) come into the weekend off a matchup with No. 19/25 Kansas City. Similarly, the Roadrunners (1-0-1) faced a nationally ranked opponent in their last contest, playing No. 17 UCLA to a draw.

NOTES:
- As part of their non-conference schedule, the Rebels will square off against three teams that have been ranked in the top 25 nationally and made NCAA Tournament appearances over the past three years. Those include road matches at Kansas City (Aug. 25), at LMU (Sept. 2) and at UC Irvine (Sept. 13).
- Sophomore forward Maxim Scordo earned his first Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week honor after netting his first career brace in UNLV's season-opening win over CSUN.
- This year's Scarlet & Gray roster features 13 newcomers and 13 returning players from 2025. That list of Rebel newcomers features eight additions from the U.S. and five internationals, including four student-athletes who joined the program in January.
- The 2026 campaign marks head coach BJ Craig's fifth season at the helm of the Rebel men's soccer program. It is also the program's inaugural season as a member of the Mountain West after previously playing in the WAC as an affiliate member.
