Jeremy Fjelsted signed his national letter of intent to become a member of the Rebel soccer team on Feb. 2, 2016, thanks to UNLV and a partnership with Team IMPACT. Jeremy, a 10-year old native of Henderson, Nev., first started to experience leg pain on Easter weekend of 2015, and over the next six-eight weeks he underwent further tests before he was diagnosed with leukemia. He began treatment right away and will continue to be in treatment for the next few years. With all Jeremy battles through, he truly epitomizes what it means to be a fighter and is sure to be an inspiration to his teammates. Among Jeremy's favorites, blue for a color, 88 for a favorite number while his favorite food is pizza, though that's been known to change. He's a fan of SpongeBob and NFL Football, while his favorite movie is is Wreck It Ralph. As a big football fan, his favorite athletes are Adrian Peterson and Teddy Bridgewater. Jeremy enjoys playing soccer and playing games on his iPad. Jeremy is excited to join the Rebel team and is looking forward to the upcoming season.
