LAS VEGAS - Led by junior Angie Sylvas' match-high 22 kills, the UNLV volleyball team defeated SMU 15-8, 13-15, 15-2, 6-15, 20-18 in a Western Athletic Conference match Thursday at Lied Gymnasium.

The victory was the ninth in a row for the Rebels, extending their program record for most consecutive victories.
