HONOLULU - The UNLV volleyball team lost to No. 14 UC Santa Barbara 15-7, 15-3, 15-6, at Stan Sheriff Center on the campus of the University of Hawai'i Thursday.

UCSB (6-2) was led by Danielle Bauer's 11 kills and 8 digs, both match-highs. Brooke Rundle led all players with 23 assists as UCSB out-hit the Rebels .286 (33 kills, 11 errors, 77 attacks) to .014 (20-19-73).

UNLV (0-8) was led by Oge Fitz' 7 kills. Leiana Oswald recorded 6 digs, while Maria Julia Goes added 11 assists.

The Rebels will remain on the island for its next match as they meet No. 2 Hawai'i on Saturday, Sept. 16.
