UNLV faces top-25 Tulsa and Oral Roberts.
After a successful opening weekend in which it outscored its opponents by a 7-1 margin, UNLV men's soccer brings its perfect 2-0 record to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the Rebels will play a pair of games this weekend against Tulsa (Friday at 6 pm) and Oral Roberts (Sunday at 3 pm).
The game at Tulsa will have a live video pay stream, the cost is $6.95 for a 24-hour pass to watch the UNLV contest. Sunday's live stream at Oral Roberts will be no charge. Â
Â
Friday's contest will be the first tough challenge of the season for the Rebels, as Tulsa was one of the stories of the first weekend of play following an impressive two-game stretch in Michigan where the Hurricanes knocked off 15th-ranked Michigan 2-1 before taking fourth-ranked Michigan State to a 0-0 double-overtime tie. That jumped Tulsa into all three major polls, including No. 23 in the coaches' poll and 15 by Top Drawer Soccer. Oral Roberts meanwhile split a pair of games on the road (win at Drake, loss at Bradley), and will again be on the road Friday at UMKC before hosting UNLV on Sunday.
Both games also look to be a clash of styles, as the Rebels traditionally have a high scoring offensive attack, and have already posted seven goals this season. Tulsa and Oral Roberts meanwhile both average just one goal apiece, but defensively have only allowed a combined three goals between the two of them.
