UNLV looking to move up in the standings.
LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV men's soccer is happy to be back home for Saturday night's "Kick Cancer Pink Game" against Incarnate Word, which kicks off at 7 pm at Peter Johann Memorial Field. The Rebels will be wearing pink jerseys for the contest, and all fans are asked to wear pink, while cancer survivors will be honored during the game as well.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and staff, while kids 12 and under and all Nevada students under the age of 17 receive free admission to UNLV soccer contests. The Rebel Mafia Tailgate Party, featuring free food, free drinks and live music will once again be open to all with ticketed admission thanks to the UNLV Soccer Foundation.
Standing in ninth place with four points, the Rebels know they have to put together a run of wins to qualify for the conference tournament, as the top seven teams will advance to next month's event in Seattle. The good news for the Rebels is they are facing an Incarnate Word team that has struggled to find goals this year, as they have just five total this year, and were shutout for six straight games including its first four league games. They broke out of the scoring slump with a season-best game however in their last contest, as the Cardinals took down UMKC 3-1 this past Sunday in San Antonio.
The game will be streamed live and carried by the WAC Digital Network which will be available on UNLVRebels.com as well as through the Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV and Android streaming devices. Wyatt Tomchek and Eric Rowling will be on the call.
